We the people of the United States, call upon President Obama to nominate Diane Humetewa to fill the vacancy on the United States Supreme Court.
in 2014 the U.S. Senate confirmed Diane Humetewa, as the first Native American woman to ever serve as a U.S. District Court judge in AZ. She had served as a U.S. attorney, and a prosecutor and judge for the Hopi. Colleagues have said she "has extraordinarily sound judgment. She's fair and impartial."
A Native American woman on the Supreme Court would make history, but our country needs her. Politics are far too polarized, which makes the judicial branch our leveling/binding force. We need a voice of unity and reason like hers on our nation's highest court.
