The Supreme Court needs to be balanced. Anyone less conservative will radically shift the ballance of the court and the way it interprets law. A shift in opinion will creat a unilateral partisan body. The highest court in the nation would effectively become an agent of a single political party. Judge Andrew Napolitano would be an exceptional replacement for the late Judge Scalia.
