Dear Mr. President,
Many interest groups are currently urging that you nominate a black woman to the vacant seat on the Supreme Court. In the spirit of true diversity, however, we urge you to consider a resident of one of the US Territories for the vacancy, someone who brings a far different perspective than another DC insider. Some possible nominees would include:
+ Hon. Frances Marie Tydingco-Gatewood, Chief Judge, US District Court of Guam
+ Hon. Ramona V. Manglona, Chief Judge, US District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands
+ Hon. Aida M. Delgado-Colon, Chief Judge, US District Court for Puerto Rico
+ Hon. Wilma A. Lewis, Chief Judge, US District Court of the Virgin Islands
Please consider these worthy jurists and their unique perspectives on life in the Territories.
