Nominate Lawrence Lessig to fill the vacant Supreme Court justice seat left by Antonin Scalia.

Created by J.M. on February 14, 2016

Lawrence Lessig is a Harvard Law Professor, attorney, and former clerk for then Supreme Court Justices Richard Posner and Antonin Scalia. Former Justice Posner once called him, "The most distinguished law professor of his generation." Lessig is also the most distinguished voice in the U.S. for campaign finance reform and ending the corrupting influence of money in politics generally. He has founded organizations (Rootstrikers), run for President, and written extensively to this end. As a Supreme Court Justice, Lessig would be in a unique position to fight corruption.
