We, the people of these United States, have been knowing that the Department of Veterans Affairs has been in disarray for decades. It is time to appoint someone that will deal with the problems head on and provide immediate fixes. General Mattis has not only the support of fellow Marines but also of all the other Military Branches. We need a Veteran that will be tough on enforcing rules that work and will be wise to create better rules for the ones that don't work. After all, this is what General Mattis is quoted as saying: “I don’t lose any sleep at night over the potential for failure. I cannot even spell the word.” We need him to be nominated for this post as soon as possible.
