Given the SPLC's long and effective history of combating hate groups, it feels wrong that they haven't been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Especially now, when white supremacist hate groups are on the march internationally. As a head of state and a former winner, President Obama should nominate Mr. Dees, Mr. Cohen and their organization.
