Ms. Hill is a legal scholar and eminently qualified to serve as a justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. Also, as a descendant of former slaves she has more than a passing familiarity with the great injustices wrought against people of color in general, and against the African American community in particular in the United States. She also has more than a passing familiarity with women's issues such as sexual harassment and violence against women. Her experiences make her eminently qualified to render decisions that show an understanding of the issues that face the vast majority of Americans, rather than just an elite few.
