Dr. Paul Krugman is one of the best known economists in the world and a leading voice against the radical philosophy of the right-wing. Not only does he have a Nobel prize in economics and a John Bates Clark award but he has accurately predicted many of the problems that have faced our nation. These include the housing bubble, inflation (or a lack thereof),and many other topics.
Give his extensive knowledge about international trade and growing economies and the US Treasuries control over such groups as the IMF and the World Bank, having an expert of such caliber would be hugely beneficial to all involved. And perhaps most importantly of all, Dr. Krugman would be an actual sheriff of Wall Street and be able to cut through their nonsense.
