Paul Krugman, who has won the Noble Prize for economics, has been correct in almost every case about the economic disaster that started in 2008.
His theories about deficit spending in a recession, if they had been followed, would have reduced the level of pain and suffering during the last four years.
He would be the perfect foil against Big Banking and their Republican mouthpieces in Congress, and his appointment along with the implementation of his economic theories, would increase the rate of recovery from the recession.
