In our current human rights crisis, where Americans are even dubious of law enforcement's basic appreciation that "lives matter," and where we incarcerate at FIVE TIMES the rate of the nation we seceded from, we petition Obama to nominate the best SCOTUS candidate to give the Constitution's role in safeguarding our fundamental human rights the reverence it deserves. One cannot watch the documentary "Gideon's Army" without feeling secure that opinions signed by a Justice Travis Williams will give our human rights their every due respect. A PD who's tirelessly worked to mitigate the poor's plight in our justice system - who tattoos the names of his convicted clients onto his back! - is EXACTLY who we need safeguarding our rights. It might take a year to fill this seat - get someone worth it!
