Nominate a qualified African American woman to replace the next retiring United States Supreme Court justice.

Created by A.C. on December 11, 2012

The United States Supreme Court consists of nine justices. Five of the justices are white males, two are white females, one is a Hispanic female and one is a black male. What is conspicuously missing is an African American female. This absence should be corrected immediately because an African American female perspective on the court will create true diversity. What's more, no person in America exemplifies the American spirit of tenacity and excellence like African American women. Consider, for example, the accomplishments of Condoleezza Rice, Susan Rice, Oprah Winfrey and of course, First Lady Michelle Obama to name a few. The time has come for an African American woman to seat on the Highest Court of the land.
