Why should there be an Asian Supreme Court Justice?
In spite of the growing number of Asians and their accomplishments in academia, there has been a woeful lack of representation of Asians in government.
The diversity of the current Supreme Court reflects the triumphs of Seneca Falls and the Civil Rights movement. It is time to continue the American civil rights tradition of expanding visibility and influence to non-whites - in this case to a qualified Asian judge.
