Nominate Senator Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court of the United States.

It would best serve the interests of the nation’s divided citizenry to maintain the delicate balance of the Supreme Court by replacing deceased Antonin Scalia with someone who possesses similar conservative jurisprudence and ideology, who advocates textualism in statutory interpretation, and originalism in constitutional interpretation. Senator Ted Cruz is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He was director of the Office of Policy Planning at the FTC, associate deputy attorney general at the DOJ, Solicitor General of Texas and a professor of law. He served as law clerk to J. Michael Luttig of the United States Court of Appeals and William Rehnquist, Chief Justice. He is eminently qualified and we hereby petition President Obama to nominate him to the Supreme Court.
