Some members in the G.O.P. are leading a charge against UN Ambassador Susan Rice, threatening to block her nomination to replace Secretary Hillary Clinton. Saying Rice could not be trusted because of her reports following the Sept.11 attack in Benghazi. This is despite the fact that these same senators used all those same talking points themselves. Apparently those senators have no evidence to prove otherwise.
At a news conference, Obama emphatically condemned the GOP senators for going after Rice, who “had nothing to do with Benghazi,” simply because she made a “presentation based on intelligence” she received. He called the attacks an “outrageous” attempt to “besmirch” Rice.
We do not want John Kerry Nominated, We do not want Scott Brown and his policies back doored into the senate.
