Tyler Doohan died Jan. 20, 2014
He is a 9 year old boy who was killed in a fire.
During this fire, he managed to save 6 members of his immediate family, as their single-wide trailer burned.
He should be remembered for his act of bravery and selflessness, if for no other reason than simply because he acted with the altruism and courage that should be recognized as a fundamental component of our Nation's community.
Compassion doesn't win wars, it eliminates the reason for them in the first place.
And for that Tyler deserves to be acknowledged for promoting the core of this country's values.
