We request President Obama to withdraw his nomination of John Brennan for the post of Director CIA. His support for torture and the use of weaponized drones in the killing of people, especially innocent civilians including women and children in Yemen, Pakistan, and other countries is an affront to citizens who believe that international law, norms and standards also apply to the USA. We elected you to end the shameful actions of the Bush era, many devised by John Brennan. We hope that you will withdraw this nomination and seek suitable candidates who can represent this country and this office with dignity.
