Stop Implantation of non-FDA approved heart devices in US citizens.
There are human experiments that are currently being run at top hospitals across the country, Chicago's Northwestern University, NYC Mount Sinai and Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic, without informed consent. The FDA has declared the devices experimental, but refuse to inform the thousands of US Citizens of the Myxo and IMR implants.
Over 4,000 patients have had adverse events and over 700 patients have died according to the MAUDE database.
Senator Durbin was to contact one patient, on behalf of President Obama, but the patient is still waiting to hear from the Senator.
US patients do not know whether their heart device is approved or not, when they go for open heart surgery.
