Non - lethal weapons for defense

This kinda goes along with the NRA idea of having armed guards in schools with lethal firearms. I propose that we do have armed guards or armed teachers/school staff except arm them with non lethal ranged weapons like rubber bullet guns or paintball guns since those weapons don't kill and they are just as effective if not more effective than a single shot taser gun since a paintball gun is able to hold a large amount of ammo and able to rapid fire and able to incapacitate a threat more effectively. Also, having something to defend our children even if it's a little paintball gun is better than not having anything at all.
