The Cuban Trade embargo does nothing but hurt both our countries. It at the time had a purpose but now it does not. Our government says they wont normalize relations until they release political prisoners and move towars democracy, yet we maintain relationships with countries such as China and Russia who are some of the biggest abusers of thier political systems and human rights laws. This embargo and travel ban serve no purpose.
