North Korea - a window of opportunity

With the death of the "Dear Leader" there is a short window of opportunity to change our relationship with North Korea from confrontational to a modified form of detente.
The new leader has not made his bones yet and he may be the key to a change in relationship in a positive manner rather than an negative manner.
Why not line up several - as many as possible of - key nations to supply North Korea with massive economic aid - food stuffs and medical supplies without any preconditions by them. Then invite him and his advisors -uncle etc. to meet other leaders at the UN. At the meeting let them know that we have arranged for massive economic aid in the form of foodstuffs and medical aid with no preconditions.
