Known as "THE REDSKIN RULE", this petition is to demand a law that allows any form of governing body, whether private or public to pursue or demand a name, logo or any trademark change to a business, franchise or sports entity alike.
Once a business license, copyright, trademark, etc. has been available to the public, a proposal to dismantle any of the before listed should be unlawful on the basis of prior approval of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
This should also be revised in the US antitrust laws on the basis of consumer protection. For no group or individual should have to re-invest in any business or sports team because of the overhaul of merchandise and goods provided by that company because of name or logo change.
