Any state being allowed to secede from the union would be devastating, both to that state and to the nation as a whole. Allowing a state to even vote for secession would result in more unrest than this nation already has. The people are being governed in the way that the majority voted, even if some people disagree. We can only prosper, individually or as a nation, through unity.
