In order to help ensure that an attack like the one that recently happened in Paris does not happen on American soil we must be proactive and close our boarders to not only Syrian refugees, but also to anyone who wants to come to America who has recently been to Syria within the past 5 years.
In regards to vetting Syrians:
New York Rep. Peter King, speaking on Fox News, cast doubt "What he (White House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes) said about the vetting of the refugees is untrue. There is virtually no vetting cause there are no databases in Syria, there are no government records. We don't know who these people are." -taken from cnn.com and CNN contributor Ashley Fantz
