It is required by law for citizens of the US to have car and health insurance. Additionally, the providers of these insurance policies are for profit. If the consumer is legally forced to by a product, then the cost of the product should not be inflated to help the provider profit. It is collusion at the worst and idiotic at best. It is absolutely absurd.
