The ability to openly write petitions and have them on the internet for all of America to see is a beautiful thing, and is a great thing for all of us. But what isn't beautiful is when people write petitions while not knowing anything about the subject they are writing on. There is a petition on this website for banning the "deadly video game "SkyRim"". While Im not going to go on a rant about everything wrong in that petition, something needs to be done about the fact that morons can ask anything, and people are actually signing it, some as a joke, some actually serious. It is my belief that not any person with a pulse and a basic knowledge of the English language should be allowed to petition or sign petitions unless they are with good reason and serious.
