not allow the Death Penalty to be an option of punishment when there is no DNA evidence to establish guilt or innocence.

Created by A.G. on September 23, 2011

We the people want the Death Penalty to not be an option of punishment in criminal cases that have no DNA evidence to prove guilt or innocence. With the fact that 130 people incarcerated to the death penalty in America in which DNA evidence has resulted in proving their innocence after being sentence. That is too high of a number to ignore. We feel that due to the mistakes of the justice system on those cases, the only executions that should be able to be preformed is in cases that is proven 100% by DNA evidence. Death Penalty should not be determined by past crimes, eye witness testimony, and accusations alone. We as a country have technology and forensics advanced enough to prove cases based off DNA, not just theories.
