Small businesses matter.
At least that's what the government keeps telling us.
So why is it that only very large businesses and very wealthy individuals are able to get the attention of our elected officials, officials that WE THE PEOPLE elected in the first place?
The rules of business engagement should not be "gamed" by the few. They should be fair and equitable for everyone.
Level the playing field by restricting lobbying activities to entities and individuals with fewer resources (less than $1M net worth/business valuation). Otherwise, changes to legislation will always favor the wealthy and NOT the small businesses that generate most of the GDP and jobs in this country.
