Big Cannabis industry has been a very misleading and dangerous experiment. The state of Colorado has had 70 deaths attributed to marijuana in 2014. The cannabis industry is directing its marketing to children. Same as big Tobacco did. By marketing to children, they are insuring future addicts for lifelong use. If our youth begin smoking marijuana daily before the age of 17: 60% are less likely to graduate from high school compared to their non-smoking peers; 18 times more likely to become dependent on the drug; 7 times more likely to attempt suicide; and 8 times more likely to use other illicit drugs later in life, researchers report in The Lancet Psychiatry, September 2014. As far as Medical marijuana-it needs to be a health/science based system with patient protocols, I.e. Marinol.
