not allow Multinational Corporations to exploit developing countries in order to provide cheap goods to the USA.

Multinational companies have profited off of the corrupt governments and lax environmental and human rights laws in developing countries for years. This petition would require all goods imported into the U.S. to have been produced under at least the same environmental and human rights stipulations that are law in the U.S. If a company does not meet these minimum requirements, then that company's goods will be banned from entering the U.S. until such corrections have been made in order to comply with at least the federal environmental and human rights laws in the U.S.
