Not allow people who are past due/behind on child support to purchase alcohol

Created by W.A. on November 14, 2012

There should be a law prohibiting people who are past due on child support to buy alcohol. Fathers and Mothers often times are behind on child support but are still purchasing alcohol. This ill-spending on their part forces the other single parents to rely on federal aid like Medicaid and Foodstamps to survive. People are carded to purchase alcohol and cigarettes already. There should be a way to scan their driver's license at stores and if they are behind on child support have it notify the clerk that they are not permitted to buy it. This would help single parent families and our economy. Single parent homes struggle while the other parent often is being irresponsible with purchases and neglecting their child/children.
