Not allow schools to give homework on weekends

Students are bombarded with constant homework and during the weekends they need a break so they can participate in social activities such as sports and extra curricular activities such as band or orchestra this will make for a more well rounded population in the next generation of adults also if sunday is a national day of rest why should our kids have work to do from school lastly our kids spend 6-8 hours a day in school and then to come home and have hours more of homework is stupid
