This petition is to not allow presidential speeches to be aired during the Jeopardy quiz show, as happened during the State of the Union address this year. Jeopardy is an educational show with some depth. With plenty of shallow shows such as all the reality television shows on television, presidential speeches should occur during these show. Even watching the president speak would be an improvement for the average viewer of those types of shows. Jeopardy fans could still edify themselves with a Jeopardy episode, instead of watching a self-aggrandizing narcissist giving a long speech.
