Not allow states to secede from the country, and start their own governments, as this would cause huge loss of life.

The recent influx of US states wishing to secede is a farce. If these states were allowed to become their own lands, and start their own governments, we would be looking at civil wars breaking out, massive loss of life, and anarchy. I hope the President, and the federal government has the common sense to not allow these States to accomplish these dangerous goals. And protect the American people from these radicals.
