Not allow the US Patent Office to cancel any trademark for the Washington Redskins and allow them to retain their name.

Created by P.J. on June 20, 2014

The Washington Redskins have been a Pro Football team since 1933. Why are people suddenly getting "offended" by the name? The US public has been completely okay with the name and now suddenly the government finds it offensive. It is an old and outdated slur that is no longer used. People of Washington DC deserve to fight for their team name. The NFL is emerging as America's game and the Redskins are a team that have long been apart of the NFL and American sports traditions. Don't take that away from loyal fans of not just the Redskins but American sport culture.
