I think it is a disgrace to all military members, veterans, and family members that the wbc (westboro baptist church) is allowed to protest so close to military funerals. It is understood that no one is allowed to stop them because it would be against their right for freedom of speech, which these soldiers that they protest against died to give them that right. It's time that as a country we take a stand against this anti-American organization which they clearly state in their website. So I petition that any protests held at military funerals should be at a minimum distance of 1000 meters away so the family members can have their final moments of peace with their loved ones.
