The District Court in New York has ruled that §1021 of the NDAA for 2012 is unconstitutionally vague and violates the First Amendment rights of investigative reporters who fear that they might be subject to indefinite detention simply for doing their jobs. Based on the facts presented at the evidentiary hearing on the matter and the US Attorneys' own inability to set forth any clear definition of the allegedly vague terms, We the People believe that this case is correctly decided and that no public resources should be expended defending a provision that the Obama Administration has already disclaimed in a signing statement. Please allow the ruling to stand.
