Although Susan Rice is an accomplished and respected member of the diplomatic service, her financial interests in the TransCanada energy corporation make her unsuitable for the cabinet. TransCanada, with its Keystone XL project, has been involved in misuses of eminent domain to force landowners to cooperate with this environmentally catastrophic project to pump, transport, and use the highly dirty crude. The Keystone XL tar sands project was a terrible idea from the beginning, and anyone who supported this project is simply not aligned with the future survival, prosperity, and flourishing of the USA as it must happen.
