Bitcoin was made as a decentralized currency, and should not change. Attempting to heavily regulate Bitcoin would change that, and that is unwanted as well as unneeded. Bitcoin is regulated by mathematical formulas, and does not need a government to control it. Bitcoins should not be banned, and not be heavily regulated.
