Not ban assault weapons and large magazines but instead create a new FFL class for them.

We believe that an all out ban is impossible as well as impractical given the proliferation of these types of guns and magazines in our country as well as the fact that the ability to make them is relatively easy given the right tools and access to the internet. Instead of a blanket ban on these weapons and accessories we think it would be better to create a new FFL class specifically for these types of fire arms and magazines. This will allow the federal government to use its extensive resources to aid the states in enforcing there own laws while not violating the rights and cultural concerns of others. By treating these FFL cards like a concealed carry permit or a drivers license it will allow us to control the access of guns to criminals while allowing good people to have guns.
