The law abiding citizens of the US do not deserve to have their Second Amendment rights taken away. There is an obvious problem with the process of purchasing guns. They are too easy to access, and too many modifications can be purchased over the counter and online. All guns should be registered, serialized, and be subject to a 30 day waiting period. This would help crack down on guns reaching the hands of irresponsible owners as quickly as they can now, and preserve the rights of lawful gun owners to purchase firearms legally and responsibly.
