There is a minority movement in my home state driven and fueled by nothing less than ignorance and hate. Texas can not survive as an independent nation. There is no way to secure the borders of this state, we have no military, tanks, jets or even ships sufficient enough to protect the gulf. We will be at war with southern countries trying to invade as well as criminal elements within our, new nation, who are held in check by federal at bay by our federal government. What would be our type of government? Who will keep up the roads? Who will make sure that all people are treated fairly? Why wasn't session brought up 8 years ago when this country started in the direction they are complaining about? People, don not be blinded by ignorance, fear and hate and really look at what you are asking?
