According to a September 21 2011 memo from the Department of justice, citizens who have a state issued medical marijuana card are having their Right To Bear Arms taken away from them due to federal law,18 U.S.C section 922 (g), (c). We the undersigned citizens of the united states are wondering when your administration will stop over stepping its boundaries and penalizing people who are in the eyes of their states laws lawful users and gun owners. We still need to protect ourselves as well as hunt,target shoot, teach our children proper gun handling techniques. Law enforcement is reactionary. We the people are our first line of defense against intruders or the hungry wild animals. please direct the DOJ to reconsider their position on this matter.
