There is pending legislation in the Senate (S-968) that, if passed, would prevent Canadian online pharmaceutical websites from doing business with customers in this country. Also, the Obama administration has announced its intention to completely shut down online pharmacy sites by "encouraging" internet service providers, credit card companies and search engines to cut off Americans' access to them.
Many people are dependent on buying medicine from Canada. Substantial savings can be had even for brand name American-manufactured medicines when buying online from Canada. The government is attempting, through legislation and intimidation, to assist in Big Pharma’s ongoing gouging of the American people.
We believe that the government should let market forces work their will in this area.
