Bush did the same with the invasion of Iraq. He misled the american people and started a war without the support of the UN. He lied to the american people about WMD, when they could not find any, he just said well Sadam had to go along with his two sons anyway. To where we all ask? Now you are telling the leader of Syria that he has to leave and go where? You can not engage in peace talks if you have already told one side that they must surrender.
