The President in his most recent budget proposal, gave into Republican demands for a chain CPI, this would see seniors and retirees lose $500 when they are 75 and $1000 when they are 85. Social Security is life and death for millions of seniors and the current COLAs are not too generous neither are the benefits. We demand that the President stand his ground and not cut these vital programs.
