The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 2008 or FISA Act of 2008 granted retroactive immunity to telecom companies like AT&T (Ma Bell) who voluntarily participated in the government illegal/unconstitutional warrantless wiretapping program which should be abolished. Telecom immunity should never have been granted and instead of defending this Bush Cheney era policy the Obama Administration and Congress should repeal telecom immunity. Stand up for our civil liberties and right to privacy from unreasonable search and seizure. Using technology and telecommunications to spy on American citizens is wrong.
