Firearms are a right given to us by our founding fathers.
As we all know, gun control does not deter criminals from acquiring firearms, even from overseas smuggling. Gun control hurts loyal family members who take their family's safety seriously, hobbyists and enthusiasts, and sportsmen and women. We cannot allow gun control to keep us unprotected, as emergency services cannot come to your aide as fast as a trained firearm user can draw.
I propose that, instead of banning firearms or making it next to impossible to obtain, we enforce our current laws, create harsher laws for gun related crime, ban the private sale or transfer of weapons without a background check, and register firearms the same you would register your car with your local DMV.
Please help me protect our rights.
