History has shown that unilateral decisions in military affairs are a mistake.
The U.N. was created to adjudicate international incidents. Given the facts that the conflict in Syria is an internal civil war, and that the use of chemical weapons is illegal under international law, the current situation is exactly what the U.N. was designed to address.
The U.S. cannot, and should not, enter into any conflict in Syria given the currently known facts and situation. There is a distinct possibility that many more civilian lives would be lost in Syria and very likely beyond Syria's borders as well.
We urge Pres. Obama - do not make the same mistakes we should have learned from in the past. No immediate military action in Syria.
