not establish new immigration laws until our borders are deemed secure and reliable visa tracking methods are in place.

Created by C.M. on February 04, 2013

There is no definitive way to find visa holders who overstay their welcome.
The government is contemplating raising the H-1B visas (temporary work) from 65,000 to 115,000 or perhaps even 300,000 and the Immigration Innovation Act of 2013 would entirely remove the visa cap for foreign graduates with advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Additonally, the Cuban government has lifted the ban on international travel.
We must not allow a major influx of "visitors" who remain past their visa expiration dates to disappear within our system and not be able to track them for deportation.
