Not force owners of businesses to follow laws that violate their deeply held religious or personal beliefs.

Created by K.H. on January 22, 2014

Business owners such as those running Hobby Lobby have been unduly persecuted by our government. Forcing people to act against their consciences endangers our free society. I propose that business owners will be allowed to opt out of any laws that violate their deeply held religious or personal beliefs even if the business is not a religious organization. The only exception would be those laws that protect general public safety. Any legal opt outs would need to be disclosed to potential employees before they were hired. This law would allow people to remain free from tyrannical laws just as our early patriots intended.
